HDMI over CAT5 extenders allow HDMI signals to be transferred over cheap CAT5e or CAT6 cable up to 60 meters, we recommend CAT6 UTP cable. There are two types of HDMI over ethernet extender, dual cable and single cable. These HDMI extenders require dedicated network cables between the units, they cannot be connected into an existing network.
