Many of the latest phones only have a USB C port on them, this means you can't use your old audio equipment because there are no ports for them. The USB Type C to 3.5mm audio splitter cable splits an audio signal from the USB C socket to 2x 3.5mm sockets, ideal for plugging in 2 sets of earphones or headphones.
PLEASE NOTE: This audio adapter will not work with phones/tablets etc that have a 3.5mm port as the phones cannot detect USB C adapter and defaults to speaker.
